About Luminance 2012

Luminance, September 11-13, 2012, will deeply explore the intersection of business, technology, culture and photography in a TED-like format, with 20-minute talks from some of the brightest minds and influential forces of innovation who define photography today. Luminance will provide an assortment of powerful opportunities to connect with an audience and community that’s energized about the future of photography creation and consumption, including:

» The Luminance conference itself where, among the two dozen voices to be heard from, you’ll find Facebook, Google, Blurb, Lytro, 20x200, and more. The conference will be held in New York City at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, where we expect 300-500 attendees.

» A one-day photography technique workshop led by renowned photographers Joe McNally, Zack Arias, and Robert Seale.

» One incredible #ilovephotography party for event attendees.

» Post-event content, including video playback of all the speakers’ talks.  Video of speakers’ talks will create an additional content marketing platform that will engage thousands of photography lovers worldwide.
